MAC Club – Why you should go buy this now

MAC Club eyeshadow is one of those bizarre purchases that I made about a year ago and if you see this shadow up close it looks like a weird mix of a green / teal duochrome with a charcoal smokey colour. When swatched the green is less visible and the base is in fact a reddish brown. This may sound strange but on the eye it’s actually beautiful. It forms a smokey brown with a hint of green that really looks great on so many people. When packed on densely the green and charcoal are more visible but when blended out they turn into a lovely warm brown that looks great on any colour eyes.

It’s great for creating an effortless smokey / sultry eye. I love it… For this EOTD I applied Club with a flat brush and packed it close to the lashline, moving it all the way up to the crease. I then used my MAC 224 to blend out the edges, winging it out slightly. I then coated lashes in Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara. Quick and easy, no need to blend millions of colours together because this shadow is so multifaceted it will look like 3 different colours on the eye.

The green sheen is almost visible in this picture.

To intensify the green duochrome of this shadow I’d recommend applying it over a black sticky base such as a kohl pencil smudged over the lid or MAC Paint Pot in Blackground.

Go get this… you won’t regret it!
